Experience and hands-on practice at the service of our customers: this is the philosophy behind the practical training courses that REDAT organizes for Diesel workshops and professionals who want to expand their operational skills on specific injector families.
Why do we offer training courses and what they are for
In the Diesel aftermarket and repair sector, technical updating is no longer an option but a necessity. The continuous evolution of injection systems and the constantly increasing variety of injector models make it increasingly complex to work on an injector that requires maintenance or repair, especially when dealing with large-displacement engines. For this reason, REDAT has considered it essential to put its know-how at the service of Diesel workshops in the form of professional, specialized courses.
REDAT, a company specialized in the production and distribution of spare parts and kits for the maintenance and repair of Diesel injectors, therefore combines the supply of high-quality components with a highly specialized training activity, directly connected to the experience gained over 60 years of work on a global scale.
Technical training on injectors: a 100% practical approach
The courses organized by REDAT are not classroom-based theoretical lessons, but operational training sessions carried out in the workshop, based on a completely hands-on approach. During the training days, participants work directly on real injectors, following the entire work cycle together with our technical staff:
- injector disassembly
- replacement of components
- reassembly
- final setting and calibration
Each phase is carried out with the support of a REDAT specialist who guides the work step by step, transferring practical skills that can be immediately applied in the workshop. The objective is clear: to enable professionals to gain confidence and autonomy in the repair of specific injector models.
Who are our Diesel training courses for
We are not an Academy nor a company specialized in long training programs: our offer consists of practical and intensive courses that provide operational skills that can be immediately used “in the field,” designed for a well-defined target:
professionals and technicians already specialized in the Diesel sector, who wish to deepen their knowledge of a specific type of injector.
These are not basic courses on Diesel engine operation, nor theoretical programs for beginners, nor general training on vehicle repair.
On the contrary, REDAT is a company specialized in Diesel injector repair that shares its know-how with other professionals who already have experience and who need to specialize in new injector families, possibly never handled before in the workshop.
Which Diesel brands we can provide training on
In order to ensure high-level training that is 100% practical and immediately useful for our customers, the courses we organize focus exclusively on certain injector brands on which we have developed a high level of expertise.
These are, of course, some of the most widely used injectors worldwide in the heavy-duty engine sector, including Denso, Caterpillar-VDO, and MTU L’Orange Woodward.
Based on the injector model for which a customer requests our support, REDAT evaluates the specific skills of its internal workshop, the availability of kits and components, and the possibility of offering truly effective training. This approach makes it possible to guarantee targeted courses with a high technical level, avoiding programs that are of little use or not applicable in practice.
Disclaimer: REDAT’s training offer can be adapted to the specific needs of the customer or the workshop, but it must also take into account technological obsolescence on the one hand, and the numerous and constant market innovations on the other. For very old injector models or mechanical-type models, as well as for models that are “too new” and have only recently entered the market, we cannot guarantee a sufficiently advanced level of training for professionals.
How the course is carried out in practice
The training we offer generally takes place over one or more working days in the workshop, with a strongly customized setup. Main features:
a) small groups, from 1 to 4 participants, to ensure maximum involvement
b) direct work on injectors supplied by REDAT
c) the possibility for participants to bring their own cores for technical checks and clarification on real cases
Each technician is the protagonist of their own training path, with the opportunity to interact directly with REDAT specialists regarding doubts, issues, and operational situations typical of daily workshop activities.
Where REDAT training courses can be held
Courses can be organized in two ways:
1. at the REDAT headquarters, in the Villastellone (TO) workshop, equipped with test benches and professional instrumentation for injector overhaul;
2. at the customer’s workshop, upon request, the training can be carried out directly at the workshop premises, integrating the course with the working environment and equipment already used by the technical team.
Organizational details are defined on a case-by-case basis according to the customer’s needs.
Final certificate and REDAT certification
At the end of the training program, REDAT issues an official certificate of participation. This recognition enhances the level of specialization achieved and can also represent a distinctive element in the workshop’s communication towards its customers.
What is the added value of a REDAT training course
Choosing REDAT’s training courses for Diesel workshops means relying on:
★ a company that operates directly in the injector spare parts sector
★ concrete experience gained over 60 years of work in production, distribution, and workshop activities
★ practical training focused on real problems and operational solutions
Not a generic course, but a targeted program that helps workshops grow technically and tackle the repair of the most widely used Diesel injectors in the sector with greater expertise.
